About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Getting better after surgery and working on my future dream. While travelling. A lot.
ABOUT ME
Since no-one here is NOT a fan of travelling, neither am I. Been around Central America in 2013 and visited several other larger and smaller countries of our wonderful world. Sweden is my second home and my deepest wish is to, some day, settle there and start my own business. In the middle of forests, lakes and very kind people :)
PHILOSOPHY
The heart decides
and what it decides is all that really matters

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great experiences so far; very kind hosts, willing to trust me with their property for a night. Even when the host herself is not at home!

Music, Movies, and Books
Just finished watching The Sopranos (I know, better late than never right). Totally flabbergasted by that final scene.
I watched a LOT of series the past year, you can ask me why when we're having a beer, and I'll tell you what I thought about them!
Books: Sucker for Jane Austen novels. Murakami, Orwell, GoT, and many many more.
Music: Massive Attack, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam & Air are alltime favorites. Can listen to almost anything if it suits my mood, but hardcore/hardstyle/sugarpop gets me over the edge. And not in a good way.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Guatemala: Paragliding over Lago de Atitlán. Dropping down a dark slide in a cave in Semuc Champey. Tikal.
El Salvador: getting cash at 11 pm in San Salvador
Nicaragua: surviving a week of partying at Isla de Ometepe. Mountainbiking around Granada. Bedbugs in Poste Rojo. Skip those.
NYC, San Francisco, Umea, driving to Paris and back in one day to eat croissants and visit the Louvre. Don't try that in one day, you'll start hallucinating.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: give me a call if you want to know everything about the Dutch health care system. And the interesting part: I can open up about myself and make others do the same without feeling ashamed or uncomfortable.
Learning to speak Swedish, working on it since a couple of months and I must say, it's getting better by the week!
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, El Salvador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua, Serbia, United Kingdom, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
Netherlands, Sweden
