About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'd like to consider myself a free spirit, as much beauty as I have been fortunate enough to see, I know there's so much more out there.
ABOUT ME
I am a fun loving and adventurous girl, born in Vietnam, but raised in America. California and Arizona to be exact, it was an exciting time in life to leave that life behind and start teaching overseas in Taiwan. Summers I have spent travelling and seeing the world, oh, the life of a teacher.
PHILOSOPHY
We get just one life to fully live, love and appreciate what's given to us. I believe in making every day beautiful, smiling through the tears, and pushing forward with a positive attitude. I think we meet certain people, at a specific time for a reason. One day when I'm old and gray it will all make sense. Until then I won't worry about it. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This summer I will be backpacking through Europe with one of my best friends. I am hoping to be able to find some cool hosts in the countries we will be venturing through. In the future, I think it would be awesome to be a host out here in Taiwan, it's such a gorgeous island to explore.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never tried couch surfing; with most of my travels I have stayed in hostels and cheap hotels. I hear great things from it though, so I am ready to try it out.
Interests
I spend my free time painting and drawing. I love teaching and being around kids, even when I am not working.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of romantic comedies, anything that makes a fun, feel good movie. I read books casually, whenever I get into my reading phase I'll pick up a mystery.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've explored just about every place in Taiwan, or at least I'd like to think so. :) There's still so much to see, but I'm thankful for the time I had spent here. I've also spent a few days out in Malaysia, it was a world of difference from Taiwan, but a great adventure nonetheless. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Some of my favorite people in this world are children. I think that as an adult we forget the simple joys in life and they show me that every day. I adore the hundreds of children I have met over the years, each one is unique and special to my heart.
