ABOUT ME

I am Lien, 27 years old. I teach French in high school and French and Italian to adults. I like both of these languages as well as the culture of their countries. I've been in France and Italy several times. I studied one year in Sicily. Every time I go back, it feels like coming home.

I would like to explore the world much more. Last year I started a course to become a tourguide at a belgian company, who proposes travelling in small groups. Last summer I went with a group to Tuscany in Italy. It was a great experience. I hope that a lot of trips as tourguide will follow.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Last summer I had my first CS-experiences in Slovenia and Italy. It was so lovely to meat all those people hosting us and telling about their life. I hope to surf more during my next trips.
I used to live in a small appartment where it was rather difficult to host someone. Since I moved to a bigger appartment, I'm ready to host as well! It was be a pleasure to tell people about my town and country and to show them around.

Centres d'intérêt

As a traveller, I like the contact with local people and the nature. I like hiking into the mountains, or just a walk. I enjoy eating local food.

At home, I'm always looking for new challenges. I like to follow different courses. I like to cook for myself and for hosts. I used to be a leader at the youth movement and we're still organizing weekends and one-daytrips.

I take my bike and the local transport as much as I can.
