One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I remember one chilly summer driving to the seaside with my best friend and my other non-human best friend and sleeping in the car in a parking lot that belonged to a block of flats. When we woke up and were getting out of the car to stretch and sort our bed-car out, a woman from one balcony started to call us. At first we thought she's going to tell us to move our car or just comment on our sleeping place (it was quite obvious that we slept in the car - we were waving our blankets like sails and had a bit of a pillow fight too). When we came closer to the block of flats to talk to her she just instantly offered us breakfast or/and shower and a place to stay. We were so amazed, we came to her home and even though we didn't stay at hers, cause we were planning to drive someplace in the evening we just spent most of the day hanging out with her. It is so so so indescribably cool when people are so open and communicative, regardless of age, looks, lifestyle, whatever. We took her contacts though and agreed to come back and visit her soon. But I lost the tiny paper with her details and the next time when I was in town I couldn't remember the place. So it's really sad that she might think that we didn't keep our promise. But all in all this was one of those days when I really really liked all humans.
