I just graduated my master in Modern Literature and moved to Maastricht. My current mission is to enjoy my holiday before I start my internship in the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht.

Hi, my name is Lisa Berlang and I'm 24 years old. I live in Maastricht. I love arts, literature, running, traveling and netflix.

PHILOSOPHY

Be respectful to other people, let them live the way they want to live, even though you might not understand it sometimes. If you don't understand, ask questions. Also, don't be afraid to question your own ideas and believes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like hosting people, and showing people around in my town Maastricht. Right now I want to visit some places in Belgium with my girlfriend, and we are looking for couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences with couchsurfing so far have been great! I have really enjoyed hosting people, showing them around Utrecht and Antwerp, where I lived before moving to Maastricht. I also surfed a couch myself and been to some couchsurfing meetings, where I met great people :).

Literature: I love literature, which you probably already figured out since I study modern literature. Some of my favourite writers are: Haruki Murakami (Japanese), Jonathan Safran Foer (American), Aidan Chambers (English). Some of my favourite poets are: Bart Moeyaert (Flemish), Astrid Lampe (Dutch), Hélène Gelèns (Dutch), Toon Tellegen (Dutch), Pablo Neruda (Spanish).

I'm a very curious person, I like learning about people's lives. I like learning about how you live, what you like to do. Also I like exploring cities, seeing lot's of different places. I do not like rushing from city to city only looking at the tourist-sides, I like to take my time and really see something.
