I ended up with this discription of myself when a friend and I tryed to combine our taste in food with our personality.

I have a son, born in april 2013. It's just the two of us. I look forward to discover the world with him.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed for the first time during a trip to New York in 2010. It turned out even better then I expected. Through CS I met some realy nice people, who invited me to lots of different activities.
When I travel I prefer being in one place for a while, to get the feeling I could be one of the locals. I like to end up with people who can help me discover the city and give me a glimp of their daily life. I would do that for them, if they want to stay with me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Just read 'En wie ben jij?' (Ernst Löw), now reading 'The solitude of Prime numbers' (Paolo Giordani), will read 'Extremely loud and incredibly close' (Jonathan Safran Foer).
Movies: I like the alternative ones, but I have to admit I can relax the most with an oldfashion romantic comedy.
Music: I cannot sing and I don't have a lot of cd's, but Belgian music is pretty good at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the rehearsal of an opera in an amphitheater in Orange (France) from the top of a hill on a warm evening during a biking tour. Going back to the same place after 10 years and standing there with completely new friends in a storm.

Swimming all alone in a hotspringlake on a chilly day in Potosi (Bolivia). The moon and the sun standing above the mountains.
