To obtain as much brightly coloured things as possible.

About:
Most of the time I just stumble through days and months, taking whatever is coming along. When I'm really sitting back to think I'm confused about stuff: other people, what I want, whatever happened to something and who the hell you are.

Philosophy:
I think this changes from day to day, so I guess if you'd really like to know, you'd have to ask me when you see me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

How I participate in Couchsurfing:
Uhm... I will lend you my couch? I can also talk about stuff and if you get me really drunk I may be willing to sing something for you (not recommended).

Couchsurfing experience:
My first surfing experience was in Sweden (thank you Carlo) and I was very, VERY shy. Since then I learned that there is nothing to be afraid of and that every experience is very different from the others, but very cool in its own unique way. I'm always looking forward to the next one!

Interests

I like to drink & draw, sew & smoke, pet pets and sing secretly.

I also like very big animals (a.i. a very big marmoset, not like an elephant or something, or it must be a very big elephant).

Sometimes when I'm sad I like to lay on the floor and kick and scream. I also do this when I am happy.

I am very drawn to stuff that's brightly colored. Especially brightly colored stuff in series. With every object of the series either a)different in color or b) different in size.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Terry Pratchett, Chuck Palahniuk, random stuff

Comics: Very much Neil Gaiman, lots of European stuff (Peter Pan, Hermann, Franz, ...), Transmet, Preacher, Fables, some manga's, ...

Music: bits and pieces of anything (as long as it's no R&B) with a strong scepticism for jazz. The boyfriend has tons of records though, music is more his thing.

Movies: old school horror movies, Tim Burton stuff, anything from studio Gibli, romcoms, Napoleon Dynamite!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen some pretty awesome stuff and I've done some as well, but till now I think the most amazing thing I've achieved is to take the weird genes I was dealt with by my strange, STRANGE (though lovely) parents and cram it in to something that actually breathes and moves. I sometimes astound myself.

Things I have learned over the years and I would like to share with you:

When people say "with all due respect", they're bound to say something offensive without any due respect.

People who don't get happy from flowers growing in places you don't expect them, are dead inside.

A fat cat is a joy forever.

You're not supposed to seek happiness in small things. You're supposed to find it there, but if you need to SEEK it there, there's something rotten in the kingdom of you.
