Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Lieuwe and I’m a student at the university of Groningen studying history. I’m deeply rooted in the north of the Netherlands with culture (in the language Frisian and history) as well in living (lived most of my life in Groningen and Assen). But I’m also interested in other cultures/history around the world, made many international friends and lived for half a year in Bergen, Norway, studying as an Erasmus student. Beside my study I play a lot cello in different ensembles, like to hike in the mountains, like to cycle in the flat meadows and nature in the north of the Netherlands and I really like to visit art museums to explore new art.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first Couchsurfing was at the Lofoten in Norway. I went with a good friend, who was familiar with Couchsurfing. We had a really nice time with just sharing. I also really like my own place and like to share it and want to explore other cultures. I noticed that couchsurfing was also a way to achieve this, just by sharing.
