Hello, and welcome! How nice- you managed to find me in my sweet little old town :)

I am an independent computer artist, making fun interactive projects which I show around the world (see www.lievenvv.com if you are interested).
Lately, this has brought me to many hotels (*and* introduced me to many great people!) and therefore I have not been very active on CS for quite a while.
Nevertheless, if for some odd reason you would like to visit Voorschoten and I happen to be home- please let me know!

Usually, I tend to be a night owl. But I do have an extra room, so we'll work things out.
I love listening to music whether it is reggae, electronics, jazz, etc. I can enjoy a video game, a computability theory problem, some sunshine in the park, some beers with friends or a movie in my home cinema.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like (probably) most people here, I just love to hang with the locals ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have hosted one guest and two long term guests/housemates, and I have surfed with a couple of hosts who were all very, very nice indeed!
I would love to host more, but I am often abroad myself - plus my hometown does not appear to be quite as popular as, say, Amsterdam ;)

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: all kinds of stuff, reggae, jazz, jungle, soul, electronic, anything goes if it's good.

Movies: anything that makes me think or is just bizarre/interesting or cool in another way. i love classic movies, Asian cinema, zombies, sci-fi, etc, etc. No US blockbusters for me, usually. Martial Arts, Cronenberg, Kubrick, etc.

Books: sorry guys, I don't read fiction :D
