I am 30 and have recently realized my passion. I love working with children and helping them develop into thoughtful, kind, and intelligent individuals. I'm almost done with my teaching credential program and decided that I'm treating myself to an early celebration. This July, I will be backpacking through Europe with my best friend. Towards the end of this adventure, I'll be flying solo to Copenhagen and going back to the U.S. from there. I hope to make new friends along the way and am excited for my first holiday in Europe!

I'll be backpacking through Europe with my best friend and am on a tight budget. Towards the end of my trip, I'll be traveling solo in Copenhagen and will definitely be needing a place to stay at that time.

I would like to host fellow couchsurfers, however, my current living situation doesn't allow me that option. Maybe one day! Until then, I can offer suggestions of good places to eat in the Sacramento area.

I am NOT on Couchsurfing to "hook up, " so, please don't ask or offer. I will decline all requests of that nature.

兴趣

I like to play instruments (piano, ukulele, guitar, and violin). While I'm traveling, I'm planning on picking up at least one small percussion instrument to add to my classroom collection. I also joined a rock climbing gym in February and am really enjoying the challenge so far. I sew, knit, crochet, and craft in general. I like to go hiking and camping and definitely don't do enough of either.

I jumped from a cliff into a small pool of water. I wouldn't necessarily consider it amazing, but it's definitely the most frightening thing I've done. Some would consider teaching as something amazing. I can make disappearing cookies. Everyone who's had them would agree. And no, they are not the kind of cookies with drugs in them.

I'm a Jill of many trades, master of... patience. If I know how to do it, I can teach you; no matter how difficult it may seem. I love to share my knowledge and to constantly learn more as well. With that being said, I will not force my ideas, knowledge, or thoughts on anyone. I don't like it when people do that to me, so I won't do it to anyone else.

I can share laughs and good company with my hosts...and what would laughter and good company be without good food? I would be more than happy to prepare a meal for my hosts, or at least help if allowed. I also make some amazing disappearing cookies!
