I'm not quite there yet, but I like the idea of being an old soul. Kindness is essential, and the humility that comes from always learning more.

I came to Portland from Phoenix to experience a new region and social climate, and to just see what life might have to offer.

I'm currently living in a space where I can't host, but I would love to change that down the line.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had the opportunity to meet other couchsurfers staying at houses of friends. Getting drunk with two brothers from Egypt, discoursing with a neuro-anatomist living in Beijing and playing music with backpackers from Germany... all priceless

Interests

Currently I'm devoted to film and acting and learning as I go along. I've played a bit of piano and violin, went through a culinary school, danced tango and hung out with radical faeries to experience communal living. I like to host small gatherings of good friends around dinner or boardgames, and I would love to spend more time experiencing life on water.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the opportunity to stay a while in a sanctuary where everyone gathered is there in earnest and open community. Living in a tent for a week is mundane in itself, but time spent there gave me such an incredible experience of human connection.
