Hello, I am a graduate student in neurobiology, though in truth i spend more time engineering than anything else. I agree very strongly with Nietzsche: "all great ideas are conceived while walking". Considering all the time I've spent walking, you'd think that I would have had more good ideas by now ;)

I like to mutter stuff about computational entropy as it relates to feedback systems naturally occurring (metabolic, neural) and human created (government, economies). Everything can be related to, or cast in terms of, the ability of individual elements to reduce disorder & the availabitiy of multilevel auditing / feedback.
