Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In March 2012 I went to Canada and the U.S. for an observership. During my stay and the travels I met a lot of lovely people who welcomed me to their couches and showed me their city.
Here in Germany I had a few guests together with my sister, showed them around, visited festivals, went to see my family in the more rural areas, had fun...
Interests
Well, sadly most of my time I am a full-time student. Although I still spend a lot of time with my friends: we cook together, watch a film or meet for outdoor activities.
Also I have to admit that I really love creating new things for friends or for my apartment....the only problem is that I am usually so occupied by my studies that I don't have so much time for that. But once I take my sewing-machine out or get hold of paper and glue, you can't stop me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dominican Repblic: After a hurricane in 2008 we brought goods to some villages in the mountains which were isolated because all the roads had been damaged. During the trip it was many times not so sure we would get there. Then in the middle of the road, there was no more road. we had to carry all the things abaout 2km. On the other side the people from the village were waiting and helped us. It was an incredible mixture: ferocity and beauty of nature and people who were so friendly and thankful.
Carlos took me to the most beautiful beach I have ever seen near Mitches, Dominican Republic.
White, fine sand, palm and coconut trees, not a single tourist, deep blue water and a clear sky. Even seeing it with your own eyes you couldn't believe it was real.
