WEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRDDDDD.
Okay, enough :D Moving on :P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I attended high school, there came two guys from Argentina, who'd been travelling the world, to tell us about their experiences. I asked them how they searched for accommodation and their answer was Couchsurfing.
Through Couchsurfing, I've met some incredible people, especially in Dresden, where I was in 2017 on my Erasmus programme. One of the most annoying things for Erasmus students, especially when they arrive alone, is loneliness. Even for me, an extreme introvert, loneliness was there. Couchsurfing helped me against that.
I've also met some cool people who arrived in Ostrava. I don't do this often but sometimes I meet up with them and we have a chat over a nice lunch.
As for hosting, unfortunately, the situation is not good. I still live with a parent, who hates strangers :D
Interests
I mostly enjoy doing things alone. The only exception is an occasional cup of coffee with a friend or a visit to my family.
I'm never bored. My brain keeps entertaining me all the time. I make up new scripts and languages, I write stories, I sing, I draw, I make my bullet journal spreads, sometimes I paint or knit...
Is any of it awesome?
No.
Who cares, though?
You know, I have something similar to maladaptive daydreaming, only a bit less severe. Would I concider this a negative aspect of my personality? Absolutely not. Although it does place some challenges (looking like I'm on Mars, getting occasionally caught having imaginary conversations, not listening to people talking to me, forgetting things, constantly bumping into doorframes with my shoulder or elbow, ouch xD), it doesn't prevent me from living my real life. And it keeps me entertained. And happy.
So if anyone's ever wondered why I have such a bubbly personality... This is probably the reason!
Moving on to other hobbies.
I love, love, absolutely love volleyball. I'm not exactly supersuper at it but I play as often as I can.
Bullet Journaling has been my latest hobby. It is great to finally utilize my need to make some art, but this time for more practical purposes. And a chance to finally be practical, for a while, with something as impractical as drawing and writing, is an awesome opportunity that I just had to take up!
Moving on, moving on... Truth be told, I like everything.
The only problem is that I'm rarely good at it because I'm unable to make any consistent effort.

Music, Movies, and Books
Man, now I really have to try to make it as brief as possible, otherwise it's gonna be kilometers long. All right.
I can divide my favourite movies in three categories: comedies, horrors and fairy-tales. Best examples: The Mask (a comedy), The Ring (a horror), Harry Potter (a fairy-tale, sometimes horror).
Books are usually not my cup of tea. I read, like, two books a year at maximum. And I usually read the same things over and over again, like Harry Potter or The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy.
That is weird, considering that I've written two books of my own. Boy, do I feel ashamed!
And now for the most important part here - music!
Literally anything with an abundant melody, great or no vocals, a complicated structure and some strong emotions will do. Like Therion, for example. Or old Tristania, Epica, sometimes Eluveitië. I don't only listen to metal, though... Play me some Shpongle, some Infected Mushroom, Hundred Waters, Pink Floyd, Black Sun Empire, Elvis Presley or something from my teenage years like Tokio Hotel or Cinema Bizarre and I'll be happy. I also go to concerts sometimes and I attend Colours of Ostrava nearly every year.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've written my own book (in Czech) and although it's not amazing, I'm proud of it because it showed that my tendencies to maladaptive daydreaming can be fruitful. It also proved to me that I'm capable of finishing things, although it does take some time.
Now I'm working on a second book, Losing Identity. It's going to be in English.
Teach, Learn, Share
Society is here to teach you and guide you, not to rule your life everywhere you go. Be yourself. Stay true to your nature.
Clean the mess even if it's not yours. This will prevent you from being ignorant.
Your surroundings might be responsible for your emotions, however, only you are responsible for your own actions.
Nobody's a jerk. They're just BEING a jerk.
Those who are supposed to stay will stay. Those who are supposed to go will go. No s*itting around. Easy peasy!
Okay okay, that's enough. I can't be the next Dalai Lama.
