About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel this world befriending it's amazing inhabitants leaving nothing a trail of wonderful energy behind me.

ABOUT ME

I love the experience of meeting great people. I am a new activity and experience fiend and with the exception of bungee and skydiving, will try ANYTHING. Cut me some slack, I have a problem with going very high up, jumping and "trying" not to hit the ground. I love to laugh uncontrollably and having a deep voice...it’s a bit epic. I LOVE spicy food and would probably eat bark if you put some Sriracha on it. I am adored by small animals and children but have no idea why...but I suspect it has something to do with my childish behavior. Lol. Tattoos are awesome and watermelon makes me smile like an infant. I teeter between brilliance and idiocy. I have a response for everything. I enjoy the little things that makes me unique. If you're weird, you're probably doing it right. Completely nomadic by nature. I can pick and go to anywhere at any time. Everything I own is with me so there nothing to leave behind.

PHILOSOPHY

FEAR IS THE KILLER OF DREAMS

BECAUSE I CAN

.....and yes, I have them both tattooed on me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE
I’ve traveled through 65 countries over the last 12 years and have been hosted by some amazing people who I still talk to to this day. I don’t solely rely on Couchsurfing nor do I take it as a freeloading experience. I Couchsurf to connect, to make amazing friends, exchange cultures, coverstaions, food and experience the country I visit fully through your eyes and experience so I can tell others of the experience!

Interests

Laughing uncontrollably!
Traveling anywhere!
Anything outside preferably with water involved!
Local food, especially meat but will try anything!
Amazing conversations from deep to ridiculous
Anything active as my attention span is somewhere close to that of a ferret

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies....all of them, from small independent ones filmed with a cell phone to huge blockbusters with the budget of a small country. Sci Fi is my favorite because I'm an undercover nerd. Love the Marvel Universe. I don't watch horror, scary movies or really slow dramas

Music....incredibly diverse taste. Good music is good music. I am not a big fan of how bad rap has become and Big fan of good songwriting and people who can actually sing.

Books....I've been crushing through a lot of the Star Wars books but there are so many of them! Again, almost exclusively sci-fi or sci-fantasy. NERD hahaha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled down the Rio Grande river for 14 miles in December through four sets of rapids. Half-way down one of the canoes with us wrecked and got lodged against a huge boulder in the middle in frigid cold waters. I built a fire in record breaking time so they didn't die of hyperthermia and 8 of us stayed on the Mexican side of the river overnight while the kayaks kept going to get help. I made friends with a wild Mexican horse and saw more stars in the sky that night than I have ever seen in my life total. The next afternoon the kayaks got back, we freed the canoe and continued the last 7 miles down the river. The Coca Cola and Instant Noodles I had when we finally made it back was definitely was one of the best meals of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love the human dynamic and the energy that people create together. I have a ridiculous amount of information floating around my cranium and will learn anything of interest. I’m think fast, believe strong and life honestly. Meaning....I will tell you how I feel or think with no hesitation and welcome the same! I'm filled with life experience and a treasure chest of life hacks. I've succeeded and failed a 1000 times and have learn something from that every time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm love to talk, possibly why I never shut up haha. I'm a pretty good and enjoy making meals for people. I enjoy as much beer as any man and rum more than a pirate. I live a strange wonderful life, completely nomadic and without a plan or care in the world. I have a good heart, great energy and A SHIT TON of cool stories to share. Couchsurfing isn't about a free bed for me. I love the exchange of ideas, cultures, stories, food and laughter. I still talk to almost every host I have ever stayed with and everyone that has stayed with me.
