My name is Lilian and I'm a 20 years old girl from northern Germany. I spent the last year with a volunteer project in a primary school in Chiang Rai, Thailand and traveling in Southeast Asia and Australia.

Now I'm back home after one year of new experiences. I still wanted to see new things, so I decided to move from Hamburg down to Bavaria for university. Let's see what I'm going to experience next :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm very young and there are still so many things and places in the world I haven't seen yet. In my opinion Couchsurfing is one of the best opportunities to experience the real spirit of a country and a culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending one year in Southeast-Asia. The life in Thailand is like a different world compared to my home country Germany and I learned so many things about serenity and charity.

Traveling down from Brisbane to Sydney just by using Couchsurfing and hitchhiking. It was one of the most exciting weeks in my life!
