Overview
About Me
I am Liina, half German, half Estonia - inseparable split identity ;)
Now I'm living in Tallinn, exploring my roots and looking forward to finding out how my journey will continue. I have not seen enough of the world yet and am eager to find out more about it. // Hence, I am currently doing an Erasmus semester in Rotterdam until January 2020.
I have a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Management in a double degree programme and bi-national cooperation between Germany (Mannheim) and Poland (Warsaw) and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administration and Innovation at TalTech.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking for a place to stay while travelling and curious about your story, experiences and thoughts. Let's see, where our conversations will take us.
Interests
I love meeting new people, travelling, learning about other cultures, languages and ways of living, seeing the world. I speak 4 languages, and currently have two more on my list, that I am attempting or planning to learn: Russian and Spanish.
My long-time passion is dancing and I love singing, though I do it barely in public or alone, rather together with friends or in a choir. ;) I love bicycling and am currently trying to get into running.
I enjoy cities, there is so much going on, so much to see, to feel, to observe - just wandering around and exploring what you stumble upon.
Recently I have started enjoying nature even more, mostly hiking or biking around a country or a region.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most impressive holidays for me was travelling around in Morocco in 2011 - the extremes of the calm desert and small towns around, the never-resting Marrakesch, the seaside views in Essaouira. It was also my first time travelling outside Europe.
In March 2018, I hiked 40km in one day, inspiring me for my summer holiday - 260km from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. This summer I was hiking in southern Estonia with my family.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want, I'll teach you how to pronounce Aitäh (Thank you), Head aega (Good bye) and pööriööööbik, jäääär, jüriööülestõus, õun, or any other Estonia words.
I can also share my talent of getting lost within details of telling a story, and then at some point returning to the core of the initial story.
