About Me

Hi!
I'm a 18 years old french girl trying to figure out what kind of person I want to be I but most of all where the hell am I gonna sleep tonight?! Travelling alone is by far one the best idea I've ever had but it still can get lonely sometimes so meeting people and sharing a bit of their lives seems like a cool thing.
I'm a shy person at the beginning but when I found a common point with someone: talking isn't a hard thing anymore. There's a lot of things that I like and I'm clearly an open-minded person so it might be easy to find a shared interest! First, I'm into music. A lot. I don't play any instrument (weirdly) but music is still a big part of my life. I love it so much that there's no kind that I dislike. But I have some preferences of course, I love old rock, country, pop, rap, electronic even kpop. I'm in love with Elvis, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Eminem...electric guitars makes me cry and mozart requiem too. If you also had a "roadtrip playlist" before your 10 years old then we might get along well.
The other thing that can make me feel like music does is cinema. I want to work in the cinema industry later so I have to expand my knowledge on this topic. The list of the movies I love would be too long but let's say that Amélie Poulain is wonderful. Long story short: I'm into art things. So if you too then guess what: we could be compatible.
To finish this long and messy profil let's just say that I'm a bit shy and weird but I have my grandmother's spaghetti recipe (that's something you don't want to miss, believe me) and I like to laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The idea of connecting people without money in the equation really attracts me. As a person with a student bugdet this is a great deal but the important thing is that you have the opportutiny to share a bit of someone else's life. And I've always been curious about other people way of living, of thinking. Travelling is great but maybe the most important isn't in how far you go but in who you're going to meet on your way.
So I'm on couchsurfing to find a place to sleep, yes. But also, and mostly, to meet people because this is something I'm not used to and challenging myself is the aim of my journey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is not something I did but it happened to me and it is, indeed amazing: I had my tongue pierced by my own teeth. I was a kid back then so fortunately; only three holes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French of course! I've never done it before but since it's my mother tongue it's doable. I'm half Finnish, I don't speak the language ( just some insults: always useful) but I can cook some real cinnamom rolls. I can also teach you my grandmother's spaghetti recipe, it's easy and you can't fail it (and it makes you look smart: true story).
I'm willing to learn anything: from nail art to carpentry!
