About Me

CURRENT MISSION

At the moment I am living in Malaysia and planning to travel around South-East Asia in the upcoming months, which is why I might need a place to stay in some areas. I hope to get help with that here.

ABOUT ME

I am a friendly and out-going girl, who loves travelling and meeting new people from all over the world.
I love learning about different cultures and introducing my own to others, who I meet through my travels and who are interested to learn about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to be a traditional CouchSurfer. Unfortunately at the moment I am not able to host anyone, but I will have that chance in a few months and would love to be helpful to others :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had much experience with Couchsurfing. I have only been hosted once by a stranger in Bergamo, Italy and once in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia, which I am so grateful for. The hosts in both places were just amazing and showed me their cities like real tour guides, which made the experience to a lot more than what I expected. I can't wait to do the same to someone in the future.

Interests

Music is a big part of my life - I love going to music festivals, but I also enjoy singing. At music festivals I enjoy listening to indie rock, but at home I listen to a lot more genres. As for singing, I actually sing in an academic choir, which performs a lot of different kinds of songs - academic, pop, ecclesiastical, folk etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting out of my comfort zone and my home country to live and study in a completely different environment and culture far away - from Estonia to Malaysia.

Teach, Learn, Share

As already stated, I love learning about different cultures. For that reason I am in South-East Asia at the moment. The life here is totally different from my life in Europe. And I enjoy every experience here - whether it's the food, the language, the history, the diversity of people and their culture, or religion. For me these are some of the most important aspects of travelling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy talking about my own country and culture, if people are interested to know. It is usually very enjoyable as my small home country is almost unknown, especially out of Europe.
Also, I would be happy to host people I meet during my travels as soon as I am back in Estonia.
