Overview
About Me
I feel like everyone is kind of everything for themselves, but I'll give it a shot. I am a curious person and especially curious about people - both as individuals and on a larger scale. I always try to understand why someone is the way they are before passing judgement. I have also analysed myself as long as I can remember, and in some instance I find myself to be quite contradictory, for example, I have had periods of very high professional motivation and ambition, but I am also a strong believer that everything is meaningless especially one's professional career. Meaningless as it is, I am here to experience it all, from one extreme to another :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet other couchsurfers!
Our strongest memories from any trip are often the people we meet and the conversations we have with them. I have enjoyed showing my hometown to people across the world, and similarly I have appreciated locals showing me the places they live. I think trips that include couchsurfing are completely different from the usual experience of a tourist, and I love the community of couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
The most life changing book for me has been Yuval Harari's Homo Deus.
In terms of music, I enjoy electronic music the most, especially house music.
From films, I like the works of Gaspar Noe and Danny Boyle.
But of course I am open to all kinds of music, films and books - the more diverse the better!
Always ready to engage on these topics and exchange recommendations :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I built and delivered an entire course of sociology to bachelor's students without ever learning sociology. It was probably the hardest thing I have ever done, but worth it!
More recently, I quit my comfortable and secure life to explore the other side of the world. I don't know yet if it will be amazing, but it will definitely be something :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my experiences living in the capital of a tiny Easter European country Estonia, spending my teens in metropolis Moscow and going to university in Britain's most diverse city Birmingham.
I would love to learn from other couchsurfers about anything they want to share, whether it's their culture, travelling stories or other wise ideas.
