ABOUT ME

I work at a library since a couple of years and having previously been a programming teacher at the local university I just love it! :-D When I have the time and the resources, I travel (preferably hitch-hiking). When I don't, I take walks and read fantasy. My three wonderful kids have all grown up and basically left home -- terribly inconsiderate of them! -- so most of the time there's only me and a cute but rather stupid cat. :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Way too many people think too little for themselves. And too much of themselves. If it didn't sound so religious I'd say 'do unto others as you would like them to do towards you'

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed last summer, and it was great! This year I look forward to being able to host (when the family circumstances will allow it). :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've spent almost two weeks last summer in England couchsurfing, and it was just wonderful. All my hosts were great and very generous people, and the experience truly surpassed all my hopes and expectations!

Fantasy, reading, my kids, my cat, meeting new people from different places, flowers, scuba-diving, plants, facebook, walking, chatting, hitch-hiking, English words, hiking, traveling, making people realize that a library is so much more than just strict, beige (in several senses) old ladies... ;-)
