About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the world, relax, enjoy life.
Visiting the States September 15th till October 8th!
ABOUT ME
I'm Amir, 26, Originally from Haifa, Israel. I'm a M.Sc student for Electrical Engineering, and currently living in Tel Aviv.
I am a social person, easy to laugh, curious by nature, and I'd like to get to travel more around the world and know more people.
This summer I am going for a 3 week vacation in the States, along the DC-NYC-Boston line. I'm really looking forward to it!
PHILOSOPHY
"What you think, you become". As cheesy as it might sound, that's actually working pretty good for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's the best way to meet new people and get to actually see and experience a place. In Europe I had only positive experiences whenever I couchsurfed or wend to CS meetings.
Interests
Music. Really. I listen to music most of the time, and I'm pretty diverse, too. I listen to Indie, Hard rock, Electronic, Pop-Rock. You can even mix in some D&B and Dubstep and I won't hold it against you. I'm also an avid film watcher. I love hiking, I love pubs, I have an increasing interest in languages. And again, I am a curious person... so I'm not bored very often.

Music, Movies, and Books
Tarantino, Scorsese, Guy Ritchie, Fightclub, American beauty, Breaking Bad, True Detective, South Park, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Muse, The Shins, QOTSA, The Mars Volta, The Beatles, Queen, The Prodigy, GBV - look, I can probably fill the entire page, so i'm gonna stop right here
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mt. Fuji (Japan) right after sunrise on a clear day. Also, I've been to some really great rock concerts... I think seeing Radiohead or Pixies live qualifies as an "amazing thing seen", at least in my book
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I am told that my pancakes are awesome :)
I really love to learn/improve languages. And I'd also love to learn about places from the local residents... 99% of the time I'd happily skip the plastic touristic experience for the authentic one
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
