Overview
About Me
I am 24 years old, and I am in my first year of medical school in the U.S. I love traveling, learning new languages, and interacting with new cultures. So far I have been to 18 countries on four continents with no intentions of stopping!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I ended up on Couchsurfing by accident. On a recent trip to Morocco, I was put in touch with a local who offered to host me and my friends. Even though my first couchsurfing experience wasn't intentional, it got me interested in the idea. Even though I enjoy traveling, I don't like feeling like a tourist: visiting a place and not interacting with the people who live there. Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to get to know a real resident of a city or country on a personal basis: something that is way more interesting to me than visiting monument after endless monument.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: it changes all the time. I most often listen to Broadway musicals, but I also enjoy artists like India Arie, Stromae, and Mika.
Movies: Slumdog Millionaire, When Harry Met Sally, ROOM, La La Land.
Books: I don't have a go-to list of favorite books. I typically enjoy dystopian literature and books on psychology, but with my schedule I sadly don't often have time to read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know! My life has been pretty normal.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people French and English. Since I lived in Hawaii for several years, I also can teach a few hula dances! Anything else I know is also up for grabs, be it guitar, photography, psychology... I'm not a master of anything, but I'm willing to share what I do know.
As for learning, I love it all. Anything you have to teach me (especially if it involves languages, music, or science), I am all over it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share whatever I brought with me on a trip, be it tangible or conceptual.
