I am an Alaska girl who is currently living in Seattle. My heart and happy place is in the mountains. I love exploring and learning about culture from locals firsthand. One of my life goals, which I've been able to sustain for over a decade is to go to at least one new country each year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking for a place to stay in Friday Harbor so that I can attend a National Outdoor Leadership School - Wilderness First Responder class (9 days total -- I may try breaking up my trip into 2-3 different stays so as not to be so burdensome). A WFR is the industry standard for professional guides, search and rescue team members, and outdoor recreationists, etc. I've been wanting to take this course for years and am so excited to finally have the opportunity. I will be in class from 8 a.m. -5 p.m. every day and then studying in the evenings.
