ABOUT ME

Tolerance is everything. That's what I think. Travelling is helping me to learn how tolerance can work out very well and, sometimes, how it shouldn't end.
I love meeting new people - and of course my friends and family! - and getting to know new places and enjoying places I know and like.
My life is about music, philology, a little bit of philosophy and politics. In my head I am criticizing a lot of stuff but I am a tolerant person. I just think that we shouldn't nod everything through what comes around. There is a lot of idiocy going on in this rough world. I think we should care about that but we should worry about ourselves as well. We need to compensate rationally.

PHILOSOPHY

I am studying philosophy and that's just makes it even harder to answer this question. Sometimes I am thinking about my life, and I have no clue where I am going to, where I am going to stay and from where I am going to leave. But I think this is something life is just about. I kinda like that feeling not to know where life is going to take you. I know that I am not going to live in Germany all my life. It would be too late right now cause I lived in the United States for a while and at the moment I am living in wonderful Madrid but whatever! I hope I will turn my life into something useful for others, too. I follow a kind of idealism and it would be a pleasure for me to deepen this idea into my life - no matter if it's touching working or living life.

I love this idea! First I was a little suspicious cause there are a lot of strange people out there. But my first experience turned out that great that I really really really want to keep doing this! You won't be alone in this world anymore :) I am looking forward to meet more CouchSurfers to share and enjoy...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

People keep asking me how I got to this great website. I just cannot remember. I heard of that a long time ago and some friends started doing it. I love travelling and once I couldn't find a hostel for a stay in beautiful Salamanca I started looking for people to couchsurf. I found a lot and in the end I stayed there at the home of two CouchSurfing hosts. I had a great first experience and I think I will always prefer couchsurfing from now on. At least when I am travelling alone cause it isn't a lot of fun to stay alone in one place. It is wonderful getting to know people for sharing memories... I just love this idea - thank you!

Interests

There are so many things I am enjoying. I really like going out there and get some nice pictures of the little and bigger things in the streets.
I also like music. I am very open-minded, I like music with guitars - hard and soft guitar sounds, I like exotic tones from Spain, South America or somewhere else, I looooooove SKA!, and there are times I am really enjoying electronic music as well cause it's kinda satisfying me... I just don't like Hip Hop that much, but as I said: I am open-minded. Just show me some good stuff! :)
I am very interested in facts that are acutally going on in the world. It is important to follow the news continuously so you get an idea what unreasonableness the world is showing up again. Sometimes there are good news, too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can never specify because there is a lot of stuff I am enjoying! I like the new stuff of the German label Audiolith which is kinda electronic punk; I like old stuff like Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Doors a lot; I like Paul Kalkbrenner; I like The Black Atlantic, Norman Palm and Gisbert zu Knyphausen; I like Motörhead, Kreator, Opeth, Schandmaul and I loooooove Mutabor! I will "complete" (there will never be a completion!!) this when I got other stuff in my head.
At the moment I am reading Spanish books to improve my skills in Spanish. I haven't found THAT literature which captures me and myself but I am questing...
Movies? Quentin Tarantino! I like most of the genres but I don't like fantasy and science fiction. I love FINDING NEMO though!! :)

I love the simple things of life. Being happy, having friends, loving your family, loving the place you come from and the place you are staying.

Teach, Learn, Share

My first CouchSurfing experience was of great advantage for the progress of my skills of knowing Spanish. We talked a lot and people where correcting me and that's what I like. I need to know when there is something wrong with my sentences, so I can enhance it the next time. I hope I will learn a lot more of Spanish and other languages, too. I would like to learn French - I was teached French in school, but the teachers messed up ;)

I can teach you German, of course. That'll be fun! =) I can also talk English with you cause I am enjoying using the English language a lot.
I can show you how to put a smile on your face :)
