Though I joined in 2013, I only very recently started using Couchsurfing, so please don't be put off by my lack of references. Everyone has to start somewhere!

An optimist, I like to make the best of things, uplift people, and believe there's always something positive to find in any situation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't think of a better way to explore a new place than through the people who live there. Locals always know the *real* best places to visit / eat / go dancing.

I also find that by showing others to the wonders of this great city, I get to experience it myself with fresh and eager eyes.

A few weeks ago we had a Swedish friend come to London for the first time. For me, his sheer delight at the play I took him to see at The Globe made a great experience twice as wonderful.

And making new friends! Can't think of many things more exciting than that.
