Music, Movies, and Books

Books: light in august, the namesake, winter night, parable of the sower, enders game, silent spring, the poisonwood bible, fledgling, the hunger games, freedom, and too many more to list.

Music: vampire weekend, the roots, sublime, the shins, the white stripes, joni mitchel, paul simon, feist, regina s, rilo kiley, lauren hill, the fugees, the xx, matt and kim, lots more. Don't judge me based on my music please thanks. I like lots of music! A few years ago a friend gave me all the music on his computer, so every other week I'm discovering some good new music that I already have! It's very exciting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 10 my parents took me, my twin brother, and my older brother out of school for a year to travel around the world. It was amazing and I learned way more than I would have any a standard 6th grade classroom. We hiked 150 miles in Nepal, we took Spanish lessons in Rhonda (the town in Andulucia that had the first bullfighting ring ever), we collected crabs in Thailand, we learned how giraffes drink water in Zimbabwe, and many more things. I hope that I am lucky enough to do the same for my family someday.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to bake just about anything. Except croissants. Maybe you can teach me that!
