About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hakuna matata and let's try to survive in the US.
ABOUT ME
Hi guys I'm Beata and I'm 27 years old. I'm from Poland, where I spent most of my years, but I have also lived in Greece and the USA. I love archaeology, political science and psychology. Would love to share with you my stories and life experience, as well as talk about history, relations between countries, international peace, and life in general.
Taking part in volunteer projects in Poznan and activiliy flight for what I believe in is what I do when I'm at home. Being positive and open-minded is what I do every day.
"You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing and dance, and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life."
-Jiddu Krishnamurti
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have visited a lot of countries with CS - this is a really amazing site to experience what is new to us from the local side of view; to meet great people and to talk about various perspectives of life.
I have had only great memories connected with couchsurfing. Even when I'm not surfing with CS during my trips, I always try to participate in weekly CS meetings to spend time with other couchsurfers.
Interests
Ancient civilizations, anthropology, political science, movie making and things connected with graphic and design. Lately I've found myself strangly interested in coding and webdesign.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: mainly rock, however I listen to everything which just sounds awesome.
Books: historical books, crime books, greek poetry, drama, thrillers.
Films: weird films and videos, epics and historical movies, good thrillers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hard to list only one, so I'll go with three:
The first one was when I was traveling to Las Vegas and fall asleep in a car during our way. My friends woke me up when we were in the middle of the city, and the big shot of lights from everywhere was like a cold bucket of water - I'm not a big fan of big cities, but this experience was just amazing!
The second one is connected with archaeology and travelling to Philippines to excavate in a jungle for a month. That was freaking awesome.
The third one would be probably internshipping at the United Nations. I've met a lot of people and learned so, so much. It's great to see how this thing work from the inside.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love everything which is connected with archaeology in Greece, the Troian War, Homeric poems, etc. I can share with this passion and would love to get to know your view at current events that are happening in the world and your view of life in general.
Also, I always gladly teach people polish words (as well as silly polish songs, of course!).
