ABOUT ME

We met in graduate school in Chicago. Luckily, our similar careers allowed us to move together to Cincy, OH and then to Albany, NY.

We love traveling, and when we can't, we figure we can live vicariously through the people visiting us, by making new friends and hearing their adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted friends of friends all the way from Columbus to Australia, and of course impose ourselves on friends and families from time to time. We can't wait to use couchsurfing to meet more people.

Interests

Lilia is a fencer and plays the violin. She goes to national competitions and has a blast. She is also involved in a community orchestra and quartet. Wine and good food are a must. She also used to do a lot of dancing (argentine tango, salsa; dabbled in rock and lindy hop) and scuba diving, but hasn't had an excuse to go recently..

Srinivas enjoys taekwondo, playing volleyball, and table tennis. He's interested in rock climbing and has yet to go bungee jumping.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lilia: Tuesdays with Morrie, Motorcycle Maintenance, The Tipping Point, Harry Potter series, most things sci fi & fantasy. I like movies, but I prefer good conversation with a glass of wine.

Srinivas: Action movies, martial arts movies, anything that makes me wanna dance; favorite authors: Robert Ludlum, Grisham, Crichton;Recent reads:World is Flat, Freakonomics, Blink, Elephant and Dragons
