About Me

A 24-YO Lyonnese woman, a graduate student in International Development.
I was born in Lyon but really recently found myself home (2017) in Croix-Rousse, this historic area that holds the revolutionary heritage of the Canuts.
Before it, I've been restless travelling, stopped in some countries (Belgium, Egypt) for personal or academic reasons. Every country I visited was special, but my experience in Egypt was like no other.

Though is this moment of introducing myself.
Resourceful, Curiosity, Kindness are 3 words that picture my personality well.
Im a bon vivant and I'll quote Charles Baudelaire to explain what does this word mean to me "'Il faut être toujours ivre. Tout est là: c’est l’unique question.
Pour ne pas sentir l’horrible fardeau du Temps qui brise vos épaules et vous penche vers la terre, il faut vous enivrer sans trêve.
Mais de quoi? De vin, de poésie, ou de vertu, à votre guise. Mais enivrez-vous."

Music, Movies, and Books

Cinema became a passion this last year. My favorite films this year were :
Phantom Thread
The Insult
Marvin ou la bonne education
Maria by Callas
Marie Shelley (last one I saw and that was a deepful inspiration for the feminist and writer-to be I aspire to become)
Katie says goodbye

Khalil Gibran and Amin Maalouf are my favorite arabic writers. I love sufist poetry (Rumi) and meditation.
Last book I read was "Le néant quotidien" - Zoé Valdès

For music, very eclectic taste. As Im writing this, I listen to the much-talented Robert Glasper "So beautiful",
