CURRENT MISSION

(Currently traveling around Europe for 7 months will be back after January 2015)I love traveling and experience different things in life so that I can share all these adventures with my friends and family.

ABOUT ME

I love meeting people, signing up for workshops to learn new things, wanderlust, yes, who doesn't love traveling? After my trip in Berlin and Amsterdam in 2012 with my bestie, I came back to Singapore feeling extremely inspired and decided to take a year off to travel and learn new things. I spent 6 months traveling in China and was lucky to get a freelance gig while I was there. The remaining 6 months, I travel around Scandinavia (Denmark+Malmo), Germany (Berlin+Hamburg), UK (Scotland + England) and The Netherlands. While I was there, I worked in an organic farm, hostel, road trips with my bestie in Scotland, stayed with locals, met a lot of awesome people, taught language studies, shared tips on traveling to Asia and most of all, lasting friendship where some of them did come to Asia for a visit. This year, 2 and half months traveling all around Finland. Lived with a mummo who speaks only Suomi. Stockholm for 2 and half weeks and fell in love with a guy name Kalles, yes, the blue one that dispense caviar. Hop over to UK and went crazy over the start up scene and tech meet ups. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time couchsurfing experience. But I do have airbnb experience. I met a lot of awesome host and experience the local lifestyle.
It's so good that this box can't contain it all.

Interests

I'm interested in traveling, food, learning new things be it via online or workshops, food, yes I love food and that's why I exercise a lot or not I will look like Jabba The Hut. I enjoy nature walks, anything to do with design, I love Zombies movies/series, I love Game of Thrones. I'm a half geek. Hmmm, enough of me, let's get to know each other more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Indie Bands, Rock, recently for workouts, I love music with lotsa beats. Movies - I can go on and on and on, on this. A lot of movies. From arty ones to mind boggling, Sundance to cheesy girly ones. Books, I love The Alchemist, Hobbit, 4 hour work week, Catch 22, Wired Magazines, Kinfolk, Monocle, MAD Comics, Asterix and Obelix.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have worked in an organic farm which leads me to think whether shall I marry a farmer? Haha. And working in a hostel is amazing, you get to meet so many wonderful people and best part about the hostel is that they have amazing colleagues and most importantly - A BAR WITH GREAT BARTENDER who makes the best drinks. I'm looking forward to more awesome things in life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you languages, I speak English, Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, a bit of French which most I gave back to my teacher. I can share traveling tips with you be it Asia or those countries that I have visited. And if I have the time, I can cook some Asian cuisine if you like Thai, Malay, Korean and Chinese food.
