i garden, grow mad herbs & medicinal plants, and am currently studying herbalism and am madly in love with it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

...I've slept on many a couch... And I've hosted more people than I can count.
In Olympia, my house has had a string of some of the most lovely people I think I'll ever meet. We've been lucky, and both sides have learned a lot from our brief time together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

traveling with my friend Claire, taking cheap flights all over europe in the summer of 2009 - insane rideshares with scary american creeps from berlin to amsterdam, having the unexpected tour of my life from a friend of a friend around the isle of ireland, sleeping in airports, falling in love with brussels, getting trampled in barcelona, wanting to go back every day, but loving a homestead and stability...

spending a month and a half in Paris learning the streets and lapping up the unpasteurized cheese and fresh-made bread; drinking cheap delicious wine by the seine and falling in love with monet

being deathly ill and stranded in Bangkok alone as a 19-year-old and surviving!

hiking up and down the grand canyon twice as a middle schooler with my parents

driving across the united states more times than I can even count now... from georgia to california to washington to new york to idaho and all over again...

meeting people for one second who change your life forever
