Hello!

We are Lilian and Adrian, a couple who firmly believes that travel is the best way to enrich our minds. Just like every travelling enthusiasts, we traded our careers for adventure. We love being emerged into cultural diversity, meeting local people and understanding different ways people live on this planet. The world is beautiful, and we want to see (and eat) it all! :)

In August 2016, we both left our jobs and took a one way ticket to Vancouver Canada. We spent the next 78 days cycling across America, which was the most fun and exhilarating experience!
We used couchsurfing for the first time during our cycling trip and had the best experience. We learnt so much, met some awesome characters that we've stayed in touch with and enjoyed feeling like a true local, we are simply hungry for more! After sending our bikes back to the UK, our toes got itchier.. and we carried on our travels through south america including Patagonia and South East Asia. In total we spent 10 months away before deciding we wanted to adventure in the land we call home. We are currently cycling JOGLE via the 3 peaks :)

We think this is one of the best ideas for cultural exchanges, and have met some of the most interesting and genuine people. We think couchsurfing has revolutionised the way we travel, relying on mutual trust and respect of humankind, something everyone should experience. We hope to keep the traveller's community alive by being a part of it for a long time!

Also sometimes it's just nice like the saying goes: "one man's trash is another man's treasure"
