About Me

CURRENT MISSION

i'd like to transcend something, i yet don't know what. i want to talk, love, explore, meet, greet, travel and generally get a kick out of things.

ABOUT ME

i am at a crossroads in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

well, i haven't synthesized anything really, but i believe in compassion and wholeness, and i look at seeking those as kind of my version of the grail quest. also, recently i've really taken to heart tich naht hahn's commentary about the heart of perfect understanding, i am a great fan of nietzsche and epicurus, and i've begun to dabble in some kierkegaard.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well, unfortunately, i can't yet offer a place for anyone to sleep, something i hope changes very soon, but i'd love to meet up with anyone whose path overlaps with mine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none, i'm thrilled to start!

Interests

absolutely everything! i love art and philosophy and genuine connection above all, i love theatre, music, literature, mythology, psychology, any other ology, dancing, singing, concerts, analyzing, over-analyzing, star gazing, a good conversation and a good bottle of wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

music with soul, books that move me, movies that excite me

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i find that every moment of my life is miraculous, and so differentiating is hard for me. every shift is cause for celebration. though if i must think of one experience, i did study mime in montreal last summer in french. the subject was fascinating, and i was so fortunate to be studying with students of etienne decroux. corporeal mime was completely different than i had expected it to be. more importantly, however, it was amazing because i had never been in an immersion situation before, and not only was it immersion, but it was in a dialect that was completely alien to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can offer a wealth of music trivia, basic swing dancing, and any bit of knowledge i have soaked up along the way - i am eager to share it all.
