ABOUT ME

Live in beautiful Asheville where my heart belongs! Tis true other lands will capture my eye, but none will steal me away from my love!
Grew up with 2 great brothers (one older, the other my twin<3) and some amazingly wonderful friends.. I'm blessed to know so many beautiful souls!
Became a nurse to nurture and heal. Thrilled to step outside my box, open my mind, and explore this beautiful world God's created for our playground:)
Looking forward to learning the vast emotions that come with solitude (I've decided it's not a loner scene, but more of a self-discovery one:) but better yet, enjoy traveling with friends!
And of course, always welcome a friendly smile:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I must admit, I've never hosted, but simply have surfered my way around. I've been to one CS meeting and met a lovely gent there.
By surfing, I'm able to learn how hosts have accommodated me, their styles and offers, so that I may better host a fellow CSer in the near future:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met up with a friend of mine who was traveling/csing Canada. It was she who introduced me to this lovely world of wonderers! We csed there and all along our journey home down the eastern coast of the US. Have to admit, I was 95% excited, 5% freakin nervous..
Needless to say, I had an amazing experience and am excited to be apart of this world of travelers, full of like-minded ppl in helping others and taking chances.

Interessi

Hiking, camping, get-togethers at any given chance with friends, going on outdoor runs - rain:) or shine, experiencing new music and enjoying the old faithfuls, shows, fishing when the mood's right, playing my harp, drinks and dancing, learning something new, the feeling after passing along a great book to another, people-watching, ice cream, consistantly (and with on-going practice I might add) simplifying and de-toxing my life, google&goodsearch, fresh flowers, taking pictures, learning about politics, and picking up new interests along the way:)

Insegna, impara, condividi

-Even though you have your world in your car while traveling, set aside a designated bag just for the CSing night necessities!
-Take advantage of thrift shops along the way:)
-Never pass up the chance to skip in a field
-Never pass up free alcohol hehe
-Read the WHOLE parking ticket (you'll find you might not even have to pay!)
-Invest in GPS!! But still tag along maps- they are, in fact, a lost art.
-And I'm still learning how to pack light.. suggestions and ideas welcome:)
