I`ve been always dreaming about creating and doing something great and useful for my country and for the world. So far, it`s lead me to learning social studies - especially, сulture studies, sociology of gender, political science etc. I have got a bachelor`s degree in sociology by now, so we can share a "hot" discussion about the society`s structure and problems haha :)

Seeing the failures of government`s work, I have started my non-governmental activity - I`ve become a member of NGO "Foundation of Regional Initiatives". Our team, located in Kharkiv, used to organize different education and culture projects for free - we want the youth to become more conscientious and active citizens.

Also I have found my new interest in IT-sphere: I have been learning HTML\CSS for a little, which has lead me to design - web-design, UX, etc. I really like my job and want to build carreer in this way.

Of course, I am deeply in love with traveling. During my freshman year in university, I was discovering Ukraine with the help of trains and student`s discount for the tickets :) In the age of 19, I met my boyfriend, which taught me to hitchhike - so we spent a lot of time together, hitchhiking on the road and making new friends. We were volunteering in the milk farm, partying on festivals, climbing the Carpathians and enjoying the life :)

After all, we decided it`s time to open new horizons and discover the whole planet. Hope, Couchsurfing will help us to do that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I`m sure, that people can`t understand new city without the help of its citizens. Only them can show the real culture, traditions, "secret places" of the country. I want to find new friends and share with them beautiful moments, adventures and talks. :)

Well, I can share with you web-design skills, explain basic functions of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator haha ;)) Also, I can do a little exploration into the world of gender equality, cause this is the sphere of my professional interest. Of course, I will tell you about my experience in the volunteering and social activity (and its features in Ukraine) if you want. Discussions about books, cinema are always welcome :)
Oh, and we can share a little yoga practice at the morning - I really like its meditative influence on the body and mind.
