I'm Elise, a french art student living in Saint-Etienne. I love cinema, I make my own films ! (mostly documentaries and portraits). I love meeting individuals from all over the world. I'm generally really curious about everything, I love hearing people talking about what they love, what they're passionate about. I find it really inspiring, not only for my artistic work, but for my life in general. Good energy makes good encounters. :)

I live with my twinsister, we're very alike and we're always inspiring eachother. We're both vegetarians and we're really interested in spirituality. We would love to discuss that with our guests! I have noticed that a lot of CouchSurfers are also into this way of life, often practicing meditation and yoga. We would love to practice it with you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to welcome travellers from all over the world! I think this sharing is essential as I want to travel myself and discover many countries, experiencing them at the closest by meeting their people. :)

I'm really interested about cinema, music, litterature, and art. All kind of creative forms, they inspire me :)

I love going to gigs and festivals, especially electronic music festivals. I'm a Drum and Bass lover and raver! I challenge you to follow my passion when it comes to dance on this style, I'm totally tireless!

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate so many genres in music! Drum&Bass is my favourite style, but I also love Jungle, Trance, Dubstep, Garage, Techno and many others.
I am a big fan of System of a Down, I listen to Metal, Black Metal, Dark Folk etc, but I'm really open to things that I'm not use to as well, so my playlist is very diversified! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting tattooed by a CouchSurfer from Romania named Andreea ( missing you guys! ), a very sweet drawing that she made (she's a great artist!) a few days after we met. It is for me a really good souvenir of my actual mind state and thoughts about life, even though it is not a serious message! I like funny tattoos :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach you some french, so you can learn how to say something else than "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?", or "Omelette du fromage" ! Haha.

I'm also really, really interested in learning a few words and expressions of your language, whatever it is! :) - and also wanting to learn Romanian now.

Oh, and I love to cook! I would love to show you some recipes, and taste the food that you would like to introduce me to. I don't eat meat though, but I have delicious vegan recipes! Maybe I'll be able to convince you to eat a bit more vegetables? Haha! No worries I am not a moraliser :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Trips, visits in the town and the beautiful places around the town, food, parties and raves in your favourite clubs ! :) But I'm really open to stay home and play board games, video games as well, as long as we all have fun! I always adapt and respect my hosts, I wouldn't dare take advantage of anybody's kindness.
