Hello!
Lily and Josh here! We are traveling through Europe quite spontaneously to learn, discover and have adventures. We left Australia last February and have realised that most of the joy of traveling is about the people we meet and the new connections we make. Which is why we think this is such an awesome platform.

I(Lily) spent most of my life growing in between Japan and Australia which introduced me to an international outlook on life quite early. Most people I know and am close with live on opposite sides of the world now which I think is insane and amazing :)

Josh is a Swedish born Australian. Loves music and boogieing until his shoes drop off (literally). He is passionate about his self taught photography and graduated from a chemistry degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to travel the world and we think the way to truly experience a new place is through the people who live there. Meeting new people and making new friendships is how I think we grow and become more knowledgeable about the world and ourselves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lily - completed a 5/6 hour hike in the German apls!
Josh - wild camped on a stoney island in the middle of the Baltic sea.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lily - I'd like to think I'm quite a decent home cook and I love cooking for other people, I'm always happy to make a meal for everyone.
I have a lot knowledge on Japanese culture from growing up there and can teach people about the language, food and culture if they are interested.
Josh - A million and one travel stories and music if you have some instruments handy.
