Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Lilith, I’m 18 years old and currently spend one year as a volunteer in Kilimanjaro region, Tanzania.
I originally come from Germany where I live in a small city and just finished Highschool with my A-levels.
I am a very active person and always up to do something. I play basketball, do a lot of sports in general like fitness and running and as well as horseback riding since I was little. I play the piano, love cooking and baking and most of all enjoy meeting new people, new places and new opinions.
As I stay with a host family, I am sadly not able to host guests here in Tanzania
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling is definitely the #1 thing I like to spend my money on. Doing so, I do not need high class hotels and spas, traveling to me means meeting and experiencing the country or region I’m in from as close and realistic as possible.
Therefore couchsurfing unites a cheap opportunity to travel (being a student I’m not able to spend hundreds of dollars on vacation) and, even more important, meet and exchange with people who actually live there. Win win for everyone ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Being asked about music, I mostly tell people, that I literally listen to everything, even though I might prefer stuff like Indie, Alternative, Rock, some Pop, the good old classics, Hip Hop and American Rap
Movies: no one could ever argue, that „Catch me if you can“ is not one of the best films ever. But I will probably get along with every well set up film, apart from horror films :D
Books: classics like 1984, le petit prince, apart from that crime and fantasy novels and political books, based on facts
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably my adventure here in Tanzania, one of the most challenging but also most beneficial experiences so far.
Teach, Learn, Share
Interested in learning a new language, share cooking recipes or do some acrobatics together?
For learning, I am more than happy of every new thing that we can exchange and I can take with me back home!
I would enjoy oooking together, going for a walk/run or share our opinions on various topics.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A lot of travel experience, Open minded discussions and more than happy to create dinner once in a while
