About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To try to have a dog hair free house... I'm failing... miserably!

ABOUT ME

All I need is a pint of Guinness in my hand and someone to talk to and I am happy!!!! The rest is irrelevant!

PHILOSOPHY

That there is good in everyone, particularly if you assume that is the case. Tolerance, compassion and understanding. Embracing the differences and enjoying meeting people from all walks of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Finally reactivated my profile after an extended hiatus ! Hoping to have more success now I've finally settled into my own place, although I do respond slowly to requests sometimes. Apologies in advance!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had lots of people from all over the world stay on my couch and loved every minute of it! It's always great to meet new people from different places and learn about different cultures. After many Couchsurfing experiences with a range of housemates it's now me, my boyfriend and our gigantic, crazy dog, Kai, having moved into our own place in East London.

Interests

Work, my dog and hanging out with my boyfriend constitutes most of my time. Otherwise I enjoy the usual things: hanging out with friends, movies, music, reading, going to clubs. You know, the usual.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty variant with my tastes - I like everything from mainstream pop culture to underground clubs. My main criteria is anything with artistic integrity (although I guess that is a hard line to draw, but definitely excludes reality TV and most forms of advertisting). If you start talking music with me though, expect Nine Inch Nails to be mentioned!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving back in Australia and am going again soon. There is nothing more life affirming than jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet and it is hard to let anything bug you for days after!

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages are probably where I would like to share knowledge the most. I'm trying to learn French and German and am happy to chat away to those who are trying to improve their English (not that mine is perfect).

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, United Kingdom
