Overview
About Me
I love meeting people, listening to their stories, having long conversations, learning about different cultures and how we the people can be different and similar at the same time :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love reading. Some of the stories that have always fascinated me were when in the Middle Ages, people would travel from a place to place, and someone on the way would host them. And a family would welcome a stranger, they would share stories and laughs (or cries) over a meal, and the stranger will continue his journey.
Couchsurfing represents for me not just hosting people, but also being warm and welcoming to one another no matter what differences lie between us the people. It's like making the world a better place one couchsurfer at a time :D
Well, of course, it's not really that simple and grand (I'm an optimistic person, but not naive ;) ). But still, couchsurfing has given us the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, hear their stories, share our stories, exchange experiences and so on.
Interests
Well, I'd say that people are what really grabs my attention and makes my life engaging! My kids, friends, and people I met on the go are what made all my trips special and are what make my daily life worth living!
I also enjoy reading, some crafting, cooking (I'm pretty good at it!), swimming and loads of other things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think living in India has been the most amazing thing I've done. India is an incredible country and has a lot to offer to everyone. I lived there over a decade, learnt two languages, lived in four different states, experienced the life like a local, learnt so many things. I even adapted many Indian habits. So when people ask me where I am from, I instinctively reply "I'm from India."
We have moved to Cambodia now. Let's see what amazing thing I'll do here. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Share! Sharing is a way to teach, and is a way to learn too!
