About Me

I used to couchsurf quite a bit. I also used to host quite a bit. Now I grew older, so it's only for the cultural exchange and the occasional local meet-up that I use it.

I used to work a full time job. Quit that as per December 2016. Going traveling. Going self-employed. Going freelance. Going into the unknown.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to recommend CS to everybody I meet and feel would like the concept - simply because I'm in love with the concept, the trust, the people, the very idea itself :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

++ Interrailing in the UK, surfed with 8 different people :)
++ Hosted a friendly french freak (say that two times fast) for a night :)
++ Hosted 7 different surfers in my apartment in Odense..
++ Surfed with nice people in Aarhus(DK) and one in Kolding( DK) - a very spontanious idea I got one night, to go to Aarhus :)
++ Couchsurfed in Holland for a week (3 hosts)
++ Couchsurfed in Germany, Slovakia, Bosnia, Croatia on my 2008 hitchhiking trip in Europe.
++ Couchsurfed in Hamburg before flying to Sydney.
++ Couchsurfed in Sydney for 4 days before flying to New Zealand.
++ Couchsurfed in Christchurch when I first arrived in NZ.

... More, but I think I'll stop updating this part :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Kilimanjaro with my brother.

Teach, Learn, Share

I usually teach people to say "cheers" in Danish!(Skål!) - and while that's pretty lame, it's also full of good energy :)

I can also teach public speaking, facilitation, life-coaching, software-engineering practices and hopefully one day: How to play the ukulele. For now, I'm learning myself :D
