hmm... Officially I'm french, but I cannot remember the time I lived in France. My home is Vienna, a very strange city: I think it's impossible to love it at first sight... but when you really know this town, it's impossible NOT to love it!! ^^

Other than that I am in a band called "Fools of Potential" and we are going to give our first concert outside of Vienna in March in Örebro! *much excite!*

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

In 2008 I decided to discover "my country" (by that I mean France), as I thought that it is pretty embarassing for a "frenchie" to only know Paris... ^^'
This is why I've planned a huge "Tour de France" to discover all the french cities I always wanted to discover... I couchsurfed for about 2 months around France and had a lot of very cool experiences!
After that I thought I'd never stop couchsurfing and would host thousands of people and would become a model couchsurfer... but life got in the way, my housing situation was too unstable to host and my financial situation too unstable to travel so I kinda forgot about couchsurfing... :/

A few weeks ago while trying to find a place to stay in Örebro, suddenly I remembered about this awesome community and decided to reactivate my account...

Musica, film e libri

Music:
Let's say it that way:
- my favorite music style to sing is so called "classical" or "lyrical" (includes things from baroque to twelve tone music) and maybe Gospel or Pop
- my favorite musical styles to mindlessly listen to would be: TripHop, Pop ballads, RnB, Soul, Trap and Folk
- my favorite musical styles to dance to are Dancehall, Reggeaton, Zouk/Kizomba and sometimes Drum'n'Base

The only musical genres I cannot stand (yet?) are probably: Death Metal, Hardcore Techno, Wagner Operas and Austrian "Schlagers"...

Movies:
Hmm... Tough one... I like to see women of color portrayed as relatable characters and not only tropes.
But I am more of a series person than a movie person I have to admit.
My favourite there are "Nikita" (only season 1), "Person of Interest" (with a huge crush on season 4) and "Avatar: the last airbender" (all of it. such a perfect show!).

Books:
hmm... there are a two books I really fell in love with:
- "Read Lolita in Teheran" Azar Nafisi
- "L'élégance du Hérisson" Muriel Barbery
(this tiny book selection I kept from my profile in 2008. I realised that I have not fallen in love with a book since that time. All things I have been reading since are blogs, newspaper or university books... this is really sad. I should start reading and falling in love with books again!)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

There's nothing like going on stage and sing with an orchestra for an audience without any microphone, with only your body to help support your voice.
The thrill I get from this is impossible for me to describe in just a few words. It is perfection to me.
I feel really lucky to do the one thing that fulfills me the most for a living! :)
