ABOUT ME

I guess I am hard to define...a shy extrovert, an outgoing introvert, curious, cheerful, sensitive, spontaneous, witty, intuitive, empathetic, artistic, careless and carefree, over dramatizing sometimes, provocative, shy and shameless...all at the same time...someone a little too complicated...though hopefully a good mixture of all that...
Being endlessly interested in contemporary art, dance, architecture, love to paint, read and write, talk to strangers (even if my mum taught me not to), walking home in warm summer rain, drink chai tea, spend vast amounts of money on good food, wine and make up (that I just keep in the cupboard mostly), caress homeless kittens, dig my toes in the sand, ride roller coasters and horses, hit golf balls hard into the distance, without knowing what i am actually doing.
I also love to get to know people and thoughts, to meet up strangers and understand their essence by starting up a conversation and see where free association takes us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling with CS is like lomography. Why would you take ordinary pictures after that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer independent movies, movies with a meaning, or that ones that just make you think for days. Quite enjoyed The Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, El Laberinto del Fauno, We Need to Talk About Kevin, The Idiots...

Pretty much omnivorous in music, from classical, through jazz to electronic, love Nina Simone, PJ Harvey, Depeche Mode, Bjork, Moloko, Joni Mitchell, Ani DiFranco, Radiohead...
