Because I believe in welcoming and helping strangers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have experience of staying with hosts and helping others on their travels, but not strictly through Couchsurfing.com A few Couchsurfers have found my Speak Machine Cultural Exchange night held at Bugalu in El Puerto de Santa Maria.

Most of my time is spent teaching English, volunteering for local NGO's and my own project Speak Machine, learning spanish, travelling around Europe during the holidays and. In my previous life I have been a traveller and teacher in Central America, a community artist in Wales, and a Fashion Designer in the West Midlands.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

mmmmm done more than one amazing thing: Swam with a Whale Shark in Costa Rica, Snorkelled with turtles and sting rays in Mexico. Sailed both the Caribbean (fell inlove with the San Blas Islands) and Pacific Ocean. Taught in Costa Rica, travelled in a VW Camper across Panama. Was a dinner lady in an orphanage in Guatemala, tangoed on New Years Eve in Nicaragua with a French Juggler, taught in Sri Lanka and Reunion. I had a water fight in Thailand. Lived in an artists village in India, made a 12ft paper wedding dress exhibited in one of the largest castles in Europe and I continue to add to this list.
