Hello! I am Lilli, backpacking for more than a year through Latin America, after studying 3 year communication studies in Brussels, Belgium.
I like being free and feeling in mouvement. Discovering new places, being in nature, learning from every place I go and every people I meet.
I love animals, especially cats 🐈 I like to cook but most of all discovering new vegetarian/vegan recipes (I am vegetarian 🌱).
I have a travel buddy, my guitalele that follows me everywhere and allows me to continue doing and sharing some music.
I am a curious, respectful and open-minded person.

Me gusta ser libre y sentirme en movimiento. Descubrir nuevos lugares, estar en la naturaleza, aprender de cada lugar al que voy y de cada gente que conozco.
Me encantan los animales, especialmente los gatos 🐈 Me gusta cocinar pero sobre todo descubrir nuevas recetas vegetarianas/veganas (soy vegetariana 🌱).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like to have another experience than the classic one going to an hostal and spending time with other tourists.
Going though Couchsurfing is a completely different experience that I love. It’s about sharing time with local people, discovering the place though someone that lives there. I can improve my Spanish, Portuguese and English. I try to give in return, sharing as much as I can when it’s possible. Feeling home sometimes which is really nice when you are a long term traveller.
I am looking to meet new local people by using Couchsurfing and create new connections all over the world.

Realmente me gusta tener otra experiencia que no sea la clásica de ir a un hostal y pasar el tiempo con otros turistas.
Ir a través de Couchsurfing es una experiencia completamente diferente que me encanta. Se trata de compartir tiempo con gente local, descubrir el lugar a través de alguien que vive allí. Puedo mejorar mi español, portugués e inglés. Intento dar a cambio, compartiendo todo lo que puedo cuando es posible. Sentirse como en casa a veces es muy agradable cuando viajas por larga duración.
In fin, busco conocer gente local usando Couchsurfing y crear nuevas conexiones por todo el mundo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking in whole Argentina 🇦🇷
Doing many trekking in Patagonia, a region I was dreaming of visiting.
Travelling 5 months in Brazil, a country I was also dreaming about. 🇧🇷
Travelling more than 3 months along the river Amazone, knowing some tribes and indigenous people in Colombia.
The first time I finally went sharing music in a restaurant in Cajamarca, Peru. Stressful but freeing experience.
