Overview
About Me
I am from the United States and am working on a bachelor's degree in International Studies. The last few semesters, I was studying at Millersville University in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, but this semester I am studying at Birzeit University. I am a non-traditional student and am getting my degree at an "advanced" age :-).
I come from a family of five children, and have twelve nieces and nephews, who I miss very much right now. In the United States, I live in an Amish community. I am Mennonite, which is kind of like the Amish, but more "modern."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm hoping to make good use of my semester abroad here, and I want to travel and take advantage of the time I have to meet people and see the sights :-).
Interests
I love languages and experiencing other cultures. Cooking is like therapy to me. I love interior decorating and making my living spaces beautiful. I am attracted to the concept of minimalism and living with less. Hanging out with friends is one of my favorite activities. I like creative writing and drama. My twelve nieces and nephews are some of my favorite people.
