Hi !! I'm Lillian, an university student from Taiwan. Currently I'm an exchange student in Angers.

Some of my friends think I'm adventurous, cool, and with tons of interesting views and ideas without expressing to others. But that's just part of me. I love to listening to others, like to laugh, and enjoy every moment!

I love drawing (design &arts), reading, and observing. I used to imagine some fictions of others. I'd lived in the bubble of the imagination for a long time since I was too quiet and shy to interact with them. But now it's time for me to break the glass bell, to listen to their true stories, and to find the original and potential character of myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is full of fun and challenges which are great chances to improve myself and explore the unknown. I like to understand and experience the local lifestyle, which I think the best way to knowing a new place.

It makes every stay being like meeting with friends, always warm, genuine, and welcoming! Also, I think it's also a great chance to sense the surroundings and store them into my mind as inspirations for the future and part of my life journey.

Music, Movies, and Books

Although I do love listening to music, watching movies, and reading, I do not have a really deep understanding of the pieces and their creators. It's difficult for me to remember them all, especially music. XD
And I have a wide range of taste. I'm willing to try new things, but I still can tell if I like and it's good or not.

-Music-
Generally, the pieces with the calmness, elegance, relaxation, or wildness, strong rhythm...
I don't know why the key words always blurred, so I don't know the names of the songs (and the lyrics)...What I only memorize are the melody and rhythm, little part of the lyrics, and the atmosphere then.
Even so, I could still share with you the music I love with the help of Spotify. XD

-Movies & Books-
Generally speaking, the types are about amazing tales and fictions, nature, history, science, environmental issues, life story, manual or agricultural works, food, art, design...
Those could always make us think more, learn more, or reflect for a while.
P.S. I've restarted collecting, recognizing, enjoying the films and the books, since I didn't have time for watching movies and reading for several years due to the stuffy and stressed school life.... (I know it looks like a bad excuse...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled alone with low budget in Europe for half of the summer vacation in 2016 (Netherlands, Switzerland) with volunteering work for totally about one month. As to another half, I was still in Europe with my travel partner(Spain, Netherlands)! I've got the unforgettable memories with so many nice people and countless novel experience.
