About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn stuff and stuff. I would like to at least go to a few more Burns, travel more, and make more time to draw & paint.
ABOUT ME
Alright so this whole profile is ages old, but I just redownloaded to find a spot to stay tonight/find some quaint spots to photograph before my flight tomorrow so while I don’t have the energy to rewrite this whole thing you can see what a zany kid I was 5 years ago and message me to get to know me a bit more now, yah?
Oh jeez, I hate these things.
I like fire, so if you have that thats pretty cool, If you know how to play with poi teeeeach meeeeee. Some people call me "spontaneous" but thats only when I feel like it. My hair is brunette because i have a job, but I can't wait to dye it again, I'm thinking maybe light pink? I longboard, I'm working on tricks. Wanna be a freerider, ya know. I also do art, and theatre, I make jewelry with beads and bones, and I sometimes sing outside of the shower. I like sports, but I don't really get to play any more, I do run some though. Hit me up if you want to play something, I'm totally down. Except for basketball, I'm awful at basketball. And kind of soccer too. These days I basically just do yoga, but I also am interested in learning hula hooping :) I like adventuring and exploring the outdoors, trains are cool, there's one around here, and I recently took up photography on the side. I draw and paint a lot, I'm trying to become better known for that and sell a few paintings, but these things take time. I'm studying 3D modeling and animation in school too, so I have a bit of fun with that :) My friends call me a bit of a hippie, but I think I'm normal enough, I mean I shower and shave and all that lol :P Also, I like red hots, the candy. I think I've got enough so yeah. About me.
PHILOSOPHY
I say to assume people are assholes and let them prove you wrong, but I actually believe in the best in people and give them like a million chances. I've only really hated one person, and I don't any more, and it was on my friend's behalf. I really don't care about me, but don't mess with my friends. Not really religious, but I'm spiritual. I like to learn new things a lot, so teach me things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I know a few okay places to hang out and explore for no money, so that's pretty cool, I mainly end up telling people the few places I know to hang out in my area, and sometimes meeting up to hang out and find new places to hang out/ share with others. If I can lend a couch that's awesome, I like helping people, but I can't always take surfers. I want to have fun and travel, and this seems like a pretty cool community, I guess I'm kind of worried about rapists and serial killers, but not really. Also, I'm always down to hang with new people, and when I do eventually go places having someone to travel with would be nice, I suppose. I eventually want to be able to say I've gone just about everywhere.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mainly I've just fell asleep on my friend's couches watching movies, then walked back to my apartment the next morning. It's nice knowing you have a place to sleep, even if you don't actually live too far away. I'll be looking to crash on more couches when I get the time and money to travel more.
Interests
Oh jeez, I already said this in the about me. Now I'm gonna repeat myself. Ug. Art and colors and music and longboarding and newspapers and books and movies and the internet. Also I'm learning 3D animation and I'm doing a few 2D ones. Ooh, and trapezing. I love to trapeze, I seriously considered taking a year off college to join the circus. I've been really enjoying taking this yoga class on campus, and I want to get good enough so that I feel like I'm doing it properly on my own, it's really nice. I also am interested in hula hooping and poi. I am also okay at accents.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Casablanca, Fight Club, It's a wonderful life, Run Lola Run, Adventure Time, Workaholics, and others
I really like Rock, Grunge, Alternative, Indie, old school rap, swing, and trippy music like Cage the Elephant, AWOLNATION, the Gorillaz, Thieves Like Us, Purity Ring, Blackstone Rangers, Die Antwoord, Mumford and Sons, Bright Eyes, The Blow, Monsters and Men, Florence + The Machine, and many more
I like pop, rap, hip-hop, and dubstep, because i can appreciate a beat and I really like to dance.
But I'll really listen to and enjoy anything :)
For books I lean toward fantasy like LOTR and Eragon and mystical stuff. Also beautiful coming-of-age novels like those by John Green. I love beautiful graphic novels likr Walking Dead or Watchmen. I also like detective novels and thrillers and old sci-fi, but honestly, I'll read anything
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the most amazing thing I've done is going trapezing and getting a split catch. It was really exhilarating and I have a video somewhere. I really can't think of anything else, but I would recommend you try it. Also, ACL was pretty rad, and I NEED to see Purity Ring again.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can draw/paint/whatever, so I'm always good to help with a few techniques on that, I believe anyone can draw with the time and dedication to practice. I'm starting to longboard, and I hope to improve, so I can teach a few basic tricks and would love to learn more. I can sew and make outfits and stuff, but I genarally don't use patterns, and I love crafts and bones and jewelry. I do a thing called bone collecting, so tips for others who want to start, I found this awesome blog called "bonelust" that's really useful. I would like to learn how to twirl (is that what you say?) poi and to do hula hoop tricks!! I also would like to perfect Spanish and learn more tumbling.
