Interests

I have a very adventurous palate and LOVE trying out all kinds of good eats, particularly street food. :)
I also enjoy taking random pictures with my point-and-shoot. I took up swing dancing over three years ago and it is now one of my favorite things to do.

There's no way I could list all the movies I enjoy but some of my favorites are: Amelie, Up in the Air, Pixar films, Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Chocolat, Dark Knight, Terminator 2...

Books: the Harry Potter series, Pride and Prejudice, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down

Music: Maroon 5, Coldplay, "mainstream indie" stuff like Beirut, Death Cab for Cutie, Noah and the Whale, Coldplay, some pop music, swing music, jazz, some blues, alternative rock

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some of my most amazing travel moments are:

-Stumbling across a Buddhist temple in Laoshan on the Goddess of Mercy's birthday. in celebration, the monks offered fortune readings to everyone.
-Biking around wheat fields in Yunnan with a snow-capped mountain in the backdrop.
-Hiking through the Swiss Alps and seeing/hearing all the dairy cows with their cowbells
-Biting into a Shanghainese pan-fried dumpling for the first time
